Howl-O-Scream preparations are creeping into SeaWorld Orlando, with new props, upgraded scare zone details and a little dark humor appearing throughout the park.

Howl-O-Scream Scare Zone props can be seen creeping in around different areas of the park. Most noticeable was the Trailer Park Tragedy area, which has its single-wides upgraded with brand new porches this year – the better for some redneck to chase us from, I’m sure. There is also some cheeky humor from the design teams, as you can see from this sign; some of them are already into the tricking spirit.

Walking into what will soon be Trailer Park Tragedy, we noticed single wide trailers being setup, interestingly, this year they’re on stilts and now sport a deck. Guess mama finally got that check in the mail!

Why are all the trailers on stilts this year, perhaps to help with rain, but we suspect they wanted some of the scare actors to be out of the way on those porches.

Near Fins Gifts, we noticed a bunch of props that hadn’t been placed yet.

And plenty of food/drink booths have started to materialize, like these outside Nautilus Theater, where the show Monster Stomp will be hosted.

Past this area heading towards the walruses, you’ll find a food booth and another drink booth.

And outside of Voyager’s Smokehouse, there’s a hot dog booth for quick bites; we haven’t seen any menus posted yet. There’s also another prop near the Guy Harvey store.

Inside Expedition Odyssey Gifts, we found that Furry Bones is back! And as we were leaving for the day, we got to see how the trailers light up at night.

The first day of Howl O Scream at SeaWorld Orlando is September 11; we’re so excited to see it return!
