United Parks & Resorts has announced a pair of leadership changes, including the promotion of former SeaWorld Orlando Park President Kyle Miller to President of the company.

Miller most recently served as Chief Parks Operations Officer, overseeing operations across the company’s portfolio of parks. In his new position, he will work alongside CEO Marc Swanson and the executive leadership team on the company’s growth strategy, operational priorities and guest experience.
Miller has a long history with SeaWorld and its parent company. He began his career with Busch Entertainment Corporation in 1995 and has held positions across operations, culinary, merchandise and park management. Before moving into company-wide leadership, Miller served as Park President of SeaWorld Orlando, Discovery Cove and Aquatica Orlando.

United Parks & Resorts also promoted Scott Maupin to Chief Parks Operating Officer. Maupin joined the company in May 2026 as Co-Chief Parks Operating Officer after previously holding leadership positions with Merlin Entertainments, Great Wolf Resorts and Six Flags.
The company also announced that Chief Commercial Officer Christopher Finazzo will depart United Parks & Resorts to pursue new opportunities.
The leadership changes became effective September 22, 2026.
