Busch Gardens Williamsburg’s Christmas Town returns November 13, 2026, bringing more than 10 million lights, holiday shows, seasonal food and select rides to the park through January 3, 2027.
The annual event transforms the park’s European-themed villages for the holidays, with lights, decorations, Santa visits and entertainment spread throughout the property. Christmas Town operates on select dates, from park opening until close.
Unlike a regular day at the park, Christmas Town is a separately ticketed event. Individual tickets start at $31.99 on select dates and promotions, although prices vary by visit date. Busch Gardens’ ticket page currently lists its Any Day Ticket at $56.99. Admission is included with active Basic, Unlimited, Premier and Platinum memberships, as well as eligible College and 2026 Military Passes.
Holiday Shows, Santa and the Christmas Town Express
The entertainment lineup includes Christmas Town Live! A Holiday Special at Das Festhaus, along with returning productions including Gloria! and Scrooge No More!.
Santa’s Workshop returns to Wilkommenhaus in the park’s North Pole area, where guests can meet Santa and his elves. Visitors looking for a more involved character dining experience can reserve Santa’s Fireside Feast, an additional-cost meal featuring Santa, Mrs. Claus and the elves.
The Christmas Town Express also returns for the season, offering a holiday sing-along train ride through the park. It is one of several ways to take in the light displays, alongside select rides and attractions operating during the event.
Busch Gardens has also highlighted Verbolten: Forbidden Turn for its Christmas Town debut. As with other outdoor theme-park attractions, ride availability can be affected by weather and operating conditions.
Dining, Drinks and Holiday Shopping
Das Festhaus will pair Christmas Town Live! with seasonal dining, including a German Christmas Dinner. Other listed dining locations include Trapper’s Smokehouse in New France, Squire’s Grille in England and Marco Polo’s Marketplace in Italy.
Guests will also find specialty treats, hot chocolate, holiday cocktails and mocktails around the park. The Twinkle Tree Cafe will serve festive drinks, while locations including Brauhaus and Grogan’s Pub will offer seasonal beverages.
For shopping, Mistletoe Marketplace in Oktoberfest will feature handmade gifts from local craft vendors. Christmas merchandise is also available at stores throughout the park, including the Christmas Town Shoppe, Ornament World and the Rudolph Shop.
Wine tastings are offered for an additional charge at several locations, including La Belle Maison, Pottery Porch, German Gifts and Bella Casa.
Planning a Visit
Christmas Town runs on select dates from November 13, 2026, through January 3, 2027. Because tickets, shows, ride availability and operating hours can change, visitors should check the park’s calendar before making plans.
The event is separately ticketed for most visitors, though eligible memberships and passes include admission. Parking, taxes and service fees are additional on applicable ticket purchases.
More information, including operating dates and tickets, is available on the official Busch Gardens Williamsburg Christmas Town page.
